Phurba also known as Kila in Sanskrit is a dagger with three sided peg which represents removal of obstacles and obscuration.Esoterically, the kīla may serve to bind and pin down negative energies or obscurations from the mind stream of an entity, person or thought form, including the thought-form generated by a group, project and so on, to administer purification.
