Copper with Gold and Silver trim and auspicious designs. Butter lamps are offered for the illumination of the path of enlightenment and freedom from suffering. Butter lamps may be filled with coconut oil, vegetable oil or butter with cotton wicks placed in the center hole or for safety one may just place a tea light candle inside.
