Kangling-Singding Wood #3
Kangling (Tibetan: རྐང་གླིང་།, Wylie: rkang-gling), literally translated as "leg" (kang) "flute" (ling), is the Tibetan name for a trumpet or horn, traditionally made out of a human tibia or femus, used in Tibetan buddhism for various chod rituals as well as funerals performed by a chöpa.
This kangling is made out of beautiful sing-ding wood and comes with a beautiful brocade cover. This is an accepted and authentic substitute for Vajrayana practices, and yields a clear and piercing sound. Practitioners often find this material easier to blow.
