Phurba also known as Kila in Sanskrit is a dagger with three sided peg which represents removal of obstacles and obscuration.
Esoterically, the kīla or phurba may serve to bind and pin down negative energies or obscurations from the mindstream of an entity, person or thoughtform, including the thoughtform generated by a group, project and so on, to administer purification.
