In November of 2018 my niece and I visited Tibet.
We fell in love with the ladies we met along our climb up to the Potala Palace. Although we couldn’t converse we communicated with smiles nevertheless. I had always regretted that I didn’t buy an apron when I was in Lhasa. So when I found your store I was overjoyed. I love my Pangden apron. It brings back warm memories of our visit to Tibet, a country I have long admired.
Pangden silk apron for Chuba dress. According to Tibetan tradition Pangden are only worn by married women but today more and more young ladies wear them as dress up. Colorful hand weaved in Lhasa.
