Dorje Drolo Pendant #28
This is a special protection amulet that we had made that can only be found at Potala Gate. The front Dorje Drolo is from a thangka painted by the talented and acclaimed artist, our dear dharma friend, Pema Namdrol. The back is a copy of a handwritten consecration by His Holiness Kyabhe Chatral Rinpoche which includes Rinpoche's thumb print.
Dorje Drolo is one of the Eight Manifestations of Guru Rinpoche. Dorje Drolo is in a wrathful form riding upon a pregnant tigress. He assumed this manifestation in Paro Taktsang in Bhutan in order to bring the local deities and guardians under his control.
