Special hard to find product

Blue Sky intense is my favorite incense, but many vendors sell a knock off. Potala gate sells the real thing made by Tibetan monks.

Clearly a very special incense

Perhaps my favorite incense for meditation, it burns slow and clean with a deep, intricate aroma that will perfume even a fairly large space for hours after burning. It’s delicate, so segments as easily as any Tibetan incense. A single stick can usually be used for three 20 - 30 minute sessions—making the cost about 50 cents per sit—which for me easily justifies its ostensibly high cost when considering the quality of the burn, fragrance, and esteemed craft lineage.

I find it somewhat similar in aroma to its relative, Red Crystal—my other favored burn for sitting—but is brighter, sweeter, less smoky and more complex in the lingering scent (RC sometimes offers a complimentary headache with its otherwise beautiful aroma) but not Blue Sky—clear as its namesake.

Authentic Blue Sky incense made by Drikung Charitable Society headed by H.E Ayang Ringpoche. This special Tibetan meditation incense is made from 26 Himalayan herbal ingredients in accordance with 13th century Tibetan teachings from a "secret" recipe.

Blue Sky Incense is renowned among the Tibetan community as the highest quality incense available. Each box contains approx. 30 sticks of 10" long, clean burning incense.
